Born in Cartago, Costa Rica in November 1975 of Brazilian Father and Costa Rican Mother, Dominik Rider moved to the USA at the age of 16. He got into go-go dancing through his first boyfriend at the age of 19. After graduating High School and droping out of College after 2 years, he moved to LA.  He worked for a hardware store managing their nursery until he decided to move to San Diego.

During his time of transition,  he continued to work as a go-go dancer besides working the retail business. Finally in 2005, after moving to the OC and loosing his job dancing at the Boom Boom Room in Laguna Beach, Dominik finally decided to take his first offer to do a jack off video for a new web company.

"For years, I had gotten offers from producers and including some porn star friends. And although I always wanted to do something related to the entertainment biz, I never saw myself as the "PRETTY PORN BOY" prototype. The fact that this site was just starting and the need for cash at the time were two deciding factors on me saying YES to it", he stated.

The website, PERFECTGUYZ.com, was Dominik's first  experience in front of the camera. He did 4 videos for this company
